2019 Season Concert Schedule

Sunday, June 2 @ 7:00 p.m. in Glen Oak Park

Mayor James Ardis is our celebrity emcee as the 82nd season gets underway. Newcomer Jordan Avellino is our featured singer and we will move the tubas from the back to the front for Them Basses!

Wednesday, June 5 @ 7:00 p.m. in the Warehouse District

Downtown on the Corner of State and Water Street

A Lot of Hot Air (good things) tonight as we perform in front of Kelleher’s Irish Pub and Eatery.  Jennifer Rosa is our soprano soloist and we feature the complete saxophone section! Free parking is plentiful and adjacent to the performance site.

Sunday, June 9 @ 7:00 p.m. in Glen Oak Park

Swingin’ Sounds of Yesteryear is our concert theme this evening.  Jennifer Rosa sings and the saxophone section will come to the front of the stage one more time.  Bob Larson is our guest emcee.

Wednesday, June 12 @ 7:00 p.m. in the Warehouse District

Flag Day, We Go First!  Wear red and white tonight and bring your patriotism with you.  Katie Burnham, a local girl, is our featured vocal soloist. We will also fill the air with Bubbling Woodwinds.

Sunday, June 16 @ 7:00 p.m. in Glen Oak Park

Fathers Day Special!  We will be playing music that fathers enjoy so bring them to this free concert.  Katie Burnham will sing and the Bubbling Woodwinds will be stage front.  The Band will emcee this one for you.

Wednesday, June 19 @ 7:00 p.m. in the Warehouse District

Tonight we have Colors in Sound for you to enjoy.  Anton Grasch is our featured vocal soloist and The Trumpets are our featured band section.

Sunday, June 23 @ 7:00 p.m. in Glen Oak Park

Weather Fun Facts are center stage as the infamous Chuck Collins is our guest emcee.  Anton Grasch is our featured vocalist and The Trumpets will be featured.

Wednesday, June 26 @ 7:00 p.m. in the Warehouse District

A Pop Rock Legend will be honored this evening and Katie McLuckie is our featured vocalist for the week.  Those slippery, sliding trombones will be our featured section from the band.

Friday, June 28 @ 7:00 p.m. at St. Philomena Church

1000 W. Albany Avenue, Peoria

It has become a tradition, we are back at a favorite Friday night venue for another hour long performance.  Katie McLuckie will be singing and you should bring a lawn chair to this one!

Sunday, June 30 @ 7:00 p.m. in Glen Oak Park

Invicta by Bruce Broughton will have its’ world premiere performance.  Noah from WWCT is our celebrity emcee tonight.  Katie McLuckie will sing and our phenomenal trombone section will impress.

Wednesday, July 3 @ 8:00 p.m. in Glen Oak Park

Fireworks!  A full day of patriotic celebration is planned by our Peoria Park District.  Come early and hear Lee Wenger and Melissa Blain sing as our Dixieland Band comes front and center.

Tonight we feature some of The Greatest Showman as Lee Wenger and Melissa Blain sing.  Our Dixieland Band is there and Chris Kennedy is our celebrity emcee.

Wednesday, July 10 @ 7:00 p.m. in the Warehouse District

The theme is Lord of the Rings and Ms. Becca Largent will be our featured vocalist.  You will also hear the winner of the John Kamarer Youth Soloist Competition.

Sunday, July 14 @ 7:00 p.m. in Glen Oak Park

Big Things will happen this evening.  Becca Largent sings and our John Kamarer Youth Soloist Competition Winner will perform. Bill Booher makes the move from the trumpet section to emcee this evening.

Wednesday, July 17 @ 7:00 p.m. in the Warehouse District

Music from the ’70’s is featured along with the professor of drums, Mr. Jeremy Clark.  Courtney Huffman returns as our featured vocal soloist for the week.

Sunday, July 21 @ 7:00 p.m. in Glen Oak Park

“Ole”!  That is our theme tonight as Mr. Jeremy Clark solos and Ms. Courtney Huffman sings.  This will be a celebration. Laurel Filzen Etzel is conducting!

Wednesday, July 24 @ 7:00 p.m. in the Warehouse District

Bring your friends.  We will be traveling to Outer Space tonight.  Dawn Clark will be featured on horn and someone (Bill?) will be there to sing.

Friday, July 26 @ 7:00 p.m. at United Presbyterian Church

2400 W. Northmoor Road, Peoria

Rain or shine – a one hour program performed by the PMB mini-band.  Big music from a smaller group.  We played here last year and had a great crowd – bring lawn chairs!

Sunday, July 28 @ 7:00 p.m. in Glen Oak Park

Some Sousa, but not all, is featured this evening and Dawn Clark will return to be featured on the band’s best instrument, the horn.

Wednesday, July 31 @ 7:00 p.m. in the Warehouse District

Double down tonight, Molly Krueger and David Blasco will be singing.  Pixar is our theme and Greg Etzel is our featured trombone soloist.

Sunday, August 4 @ 7:00 p.m. in Glen Oak Park

Tonight is the College Fight Song Salute!  Wear your favorite university gear and come out to cheer them on.  Molly Krueger and David Blasco are singing and Greg is bringing his trombone.  Ed Hammond is our celebrity emcee this evening.

Wednesday, August 7 @ 7:00 pm in the Warehouse District

You Put Your Right Foot In and other things.  Libby Moore is our featured vocalist and Laurel Filzen Etzel will take flight on her french horn.  Last night downtown – join us.

Sunday, August 11 @ 7:00 p.m. in Glen Oak Park

Kid’s Night.  Gym Corner will be tumbling as the band reviews some of the more popular selections from the season.  Libby Moore is our featured vocal soloist and Laurel is back with her horn.  Mary Jo Papich is our celebrity emcee.  Bring friends and family for the last concert of the season.
