2017 Season Concert Schedule

The 80th Season!

Sunday, June 4 @ 7:00 p.m. in Glen Oak Park

Mayor James Ardis is our celebrity emcee as the 80th season gets underway. Katie Burnham is our featured vocalist and the PMB Trombone Section stands out on front of  the stage with Lassus Trombone!

Wednesday, June 7 @ 7:00 p.m. in the Warehouse District

Downtown on the Corner of State and Water Street

Another Op’nin’ on the Riverfront!  Free parking is plentiful and adjacent to the performance site. Bring lawn chairs or sit at tables provided by Kelleher’s Irish Pub and Eatery.  Dr. Anton Grasch sings and the Trumpet Section is featured.

Sunday, June 11 @ 7:00 p.m. in Glen Oak Park

Space!  Follow the band around a musical universe.  Dr. Anton Grasch will be with us again to sing and we will feature the Trumpet Section.  Weather guru Chuck Collins is our emcee.

Wednesday, June 14 @ 7:00 p.m. in the Warehouse District

Commotion in the Ocean!  Come and hear what it is all about. Katie Speiden is our featured vocalist and the Bubbling Woodwinds will remind you of the great Lawrence Welk.

Sunday, June 18 @ 7:00 p.m. in Glen Oak Park

A Knight of Dance!  Welcome the Civil War Dancers back to Glen Oak. Katie Speiden sings and everyone should bring bubbles for our own Bubbling Woodwinds.  News anchor legend Bob Larson is our guest emcee.

Back to the Riverfront for The Big Apple.  Jennifer Rosa is our featured vocalist and we will feature the winner of the John Kamarer Youth Soloist Competition.

Sunday, June 25 @ 7:00 p.m. in Glen Oak Park

Jennifer Rosa will be singing and the winner of the Kamarer Youth Soloist Competition will perform.  Our theme tonight is, “Isn’t Bill 80?” as we all thank trumpeter Bill Booher!  Lee Ranson is our celebrity guest emcee!

Wednesday, June 28 @ 7:00 p.m. in the Warehouse District

It’s road construction season as we take an I-80 Detour.  Lee Wenger and Katie McLuckie are our featured singers and the Dixieland Band comes front and center.

Friday, June 30 @ 7:00 p.m. at St. Philomena Church

It has become a tradition, we are back at a favorite Friday night venue for another hour long performance.  The full band will be there along with Lee Wenger and Katie McLuckie.  Bring a lawn chair to this one!

Monday, July 3 @ 7:00 p.m. in Glen Oak Park

All American! Come enjoy the oustanding Peoria Park District Fireworks Extravaganza.  Lee Wenger  and Katie McLuckie will be our featured vocalists and the band will present some of the best in American music.

Mr. Ed Hammond is our guest emcee and newcomer Tracey Furling will be our featured vocalist as we Take Flight! Also featured are Them Basses who will move from the back of the band to the front – don’t miss it!

Come dressed for this one, A Spooky Summer Night! Then enjoy two outstanding vocal soloists, Nic Filzen and Rebecca Crumrine.  Trombonist Carl Anderson will be sliding around.

Sunday, July 16 @ 7:00 p.m. in Glen Oak Park

Guest emcee Jim Wilhelm brings history to life as we feature some music of local band composers.  Nic Filzen and Rebecca Crumrine will sing and Carl Anderson will pay tribute to Peoria.

Tonight we take a Sentimental Journey.  Linden Christ comes home from Chicago to sing for us and Molly Wilson is back as our featured violin soloist.

Friday, July 21 @ 7:00 p.m. The Shoppes at Grand Prairie

Bring your lawn chair (and your credit card) for this one.  We will be center court with vocalist Linden Christ and violinist Molly Wilson.

Sunday, July 23 @ 7:00 p.m. in Glen Oak Park

A little musical history of the Salvation Army this evening with guest emcee Chris Kennedy.  Linden Christ is back to sing and Molly Wilson will be there to play her violin.

Wednesday, July 26 @ 7:00 p.m. in the Warehouse District

The Wild West! Come enjoy the hospitality of Kelleher’s and the aura of Water Street as we welcome vocalist Kristin Lelm and Laurel Filzen Etzel will solo on the best instrument in the band!  The horn.

Friday, July 28 @ 7:00 p.m. at Bradley University

The band will be on the Alumni Quad behind Bradley Hall.  Bring a lawn chair and enjoy a one hour concert on the Hilltop.  Kristin Lelm returns to her alma mater to sing.

Sunday, July 30 @ 7:00 p.m. in Glen Oak Park

Sousa and Friends are the headline for this evening.  ArtsPartners own Jenn Gordon is our emcee with Kristin Lelm singing and Laurel Filzen Etzel soloing on horn.

Wednesday, August 2 @ 7:00 p.m. in the Warehouse District

Rock Out!  It all begins with Frank Gutierrez and his tuba but Libby Moore and Colleen Rice will be there to sing as well.  Clothes from the 1970’s might just be the thing.

Sunday, August 6 @ 7:00 p.m. in Glen Oak Park

Tonight is the College Fight Song Salute!  Wear your favorite university gear and come out to hear Libby Moore and Colleen Rice sing.  And yes, Frank and his tuba will be there for this one as well.

Inchon! A special remembrance of those who served in the Korean War.  Becca Largent is our vocal soloist and Sam Stauffer will amaze you with his euphonium performance.

A Season in Review.  Come hear some of the band and crowd favorites from our 80th season.  Bradley Coach Brian Wardle is our guest emcee and Becca Largent will be singing.  Sam Stauffer is our euphonium soloist.
