The Municipal Band Commission is responsible for carrying out provisions of “an act in relation to the employment or maintaining of musical bands by municipalities.” These individuals attend concerts, assist with publicity, organize “give-a-ways” and more. Their service is appreciated by everyone associated with the Peoria Municipal Band. Look for them in their famous “blue shirts” when you attend a concert.
