The Wednesday, July 27th, concert of the Peoria Municipal Band will be broadcast live on Comcast 22 and itv3 in the Peoria area. We hope to see a big audience in the Warehouse District for this performance as we continue to work to reach out to others around our community.
Newcomer Becca Largent is our vocal soloist. Clinton Linkmeyer will step out from the trumpet section and be featured with a great Herbert L. Clarke solo. Come enjoy the hospitality of Kellehers and the aura of Water Street.
It was an honor to share the concert stage with the 85th Army Band on Sunday night, July 17th. Special thanks to Peoria Post #2 for providing dinner for them before the concert.
The Peoria Municipal Band is grateful to all the restaurants who support the band through the donation of gift certificates for audience members. (See the list) At each concert those in attendance can sign up for a drawing that takes place at intermission.
